# Integrations with external tools: overview

## What are integrations?

QUESTIONSTAR gives you several ways to connect your survey data directly with external tools. These so-called **integrations** enable an automatic flow of data between QUESTIONSTAR and analysis or reporting systems such as [*Google Data Studio*](https://lookerstudio.google.com/), [*Microsoft Power BI*](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/products/power-bi), [*Zapier*](https://zapier.com/) or custom applications via a *REST API*.

## What are integrations for?

With integrations, you can take your survey results and:

- display them in dashboards in real time,
- combine them with other data sources (e.g. CRM or ERP systems),
- generate automated reports,
- automate workflows (e.g. follow-up emails, creating tasks),
- or integrate them into internal processes.

This saves you time during analysis, reduces manual errors, and lets other departments (e.g. marketing, sales or HR) work directly with the results.

## Available integrations

The following integrations are currently available to you:

- **Google Data Studio** – for building interactive dashboards based on your QS data.
- **Microsoft Power BI** – for comprehensive analysis and dynamic reporting.
- **Zapier** – to connect with over 5,000 tools (e.g. Google Sheets, Trello, Slack, Mailchimp) without any coding.
- **REST API** – to connect your systems directly (e.g. website, CRM, your own applications).
- **Web services** – to pass survey results to external systems in real time – e.g. for automated processing in your support tool, CRM or internal workflow.
