You can pass this link to your referrals — by email, newsletter, website, social media, presentation or printed material. As soon as someone visits our website via your link, a cookie is stored in their browser that identifies you as the referrer. If that person signs up for QUESTIONSTAR, your partner ID is recorded in their user profile — even if there are several months between the click and the sign-up. With every payment this customer makes, your commission is automatically credited to your partner account. You can initiate the payout to your credit card or PayPal account at any time. **How is the commission calculated?** On your referral's first payment, you receive **30%** of the amount paid. On every further payment by that customer — renewal, upgrade, add-ons — you receive **10%** each time. Example: if your referral chooses a plan for €100 after signing up, you receive €30 from that payment. On the next renewal (also €100) you receive €10. If that person later switches to a plan for €1,000, you receive €100 from that payment. The 10% applies indefinitely — as long as the referral stays a QUESTIONSTAR customer. **How do I receive the money?** Payout is either to your credit card or your PayPal account. You can enter both directly in the partner account — or add them later. Until then, your commission balance accumulates in your partner account. **How long does a payout take?** Usually **7 days** between the payout request and receipt on your credit card or PayPal. The first payout can take **30 to 40 days** — this check serves fraud prevention and protects both you and your referrals. **Are there limits on the payout?** Minimum payout: **€50**. There's no upper limit — it's only determined by the current balance of your partner account. **Do I have to pay tax on my commission?** As a rule, yes. Commissions from referral business are subject to income tax in Germany — the tax base and possible allowances depend on whether you act as a private individual or self-employed, and what other income you have. We recommend consulting a tax advisor about your specific situation — we can't provide binding tax advice here. **What do I need to take part?** If you already have a QUESTIONSTAR account, simply sign in to the partner account with your credentials. If not — register for the partner program. Then activate your partner account by entering the credit card or PayPal account to which your commission balance should be transferred. **How can I refer QUESTIONSTAR?** With your personal referral link and QR code, many ways are open to you: - Send the link by email or newsletter - Embed it in your website or blog - Include it in videos - Share it on social media - Set up an ad campaign with the link You can print the QR code on flyers, business cards, info sheets or brochures — or show it during a presentation. **I don't have a website — can I still take part?** Yes, of course. Your own website isn't a requirement. Referrals via email, social media, presentations or print materials work just as well. **Can I see which customers I've referred?** Yes and no. For data-protection reasons, we can't disclose personal data of your referrals. But in your partner account you see all transactions triggered by your referrals — shown pseudonymized. So you don't see names, but the complete commission picture of your contribution. **Are there rules for advertising?** Yes. In your partner account you'll find a detailed list of what is and isn't allowed when distributing referrals. In short: respect potential customers, be honest — and don't promise anything QUESTIONSTAR doesn't deliver. **Are there marketing materials I can use?** Yes. In your partner account, logos in various formats, short promo videos, screenshots, case studies and presentation slides are available for download.
