# Frequencies and Relative Frequencies

*Frequency distribution indicates, for each value, how often it occurs in the data.*

**Frequency distribution** indicates, for each value, how often it occurs in the data.

**Relative frequency** shows the proportion (or percentage) of observations for a value.
