Survey Tools in the dashboard

What are the "Survey Tools" in the dashboard?

As soon as you select a survey in the dashboard, the "Survey Tools" panel appears on the right. Here you'll find all the functions you need to work on the selected survey — clearly grouped together.

Survey Tools in the dashboard

The Survey Tools are divided into three functional areas:

  • Building and designing the survey
  • Collecting and analyzing data
  • Organizing and managing the survey

This structure helps you quickly find the right tool for your next step — whether you're still working on the survey, analyzing data, or want to share it with your team.

Building and designing a survey

In the top block you'll find everything you need to shape your survey in terms of content and appearance:

  • Edit Survey
Opens the editor, where you adjust pages, questions and logic.
  • Preview Survey
Shows a live preview of the survey from the respondent's point of view — useful for checking it before you send it out.
  • Style Survey
Here you design colors, fonts and layouts — without changing the content.
  • Translate Survey
Opens the translation view so you can offer your survey in multiple languages.

Collecting and analyzing data

This block contains all the functions related to how the survey runs and to analyzing the data:

  • Activate Survey / Close Survey
Controls the collection status. An active survey is reachable online for respondents; a closed one isn't.
  • Survey Settings
In this area you configure the core conditions for how your survey runs — including access, privacy aspects, and numerous other technical and organizational options.
  • Distribute Survey
Opens channel management — here you create survey links or send invitations by email.
  • View Answers
Shows all the raw data received. You can also review or export individual cases there.
  • Analyze Results
Takes you to the graphical analysis — with charts, filter functions and statistical evaluations.

Organizing and managing surveys

The lower block is meant for operational tasks and organizational processes:

  • Copy Survey
Creates a complete copy including all content and settings.
  • Share with Team
Opens a dialog for sharing the survey with groups or individuals.
  • Move to Bin
Removes the survey from the dashboard. Data collection is stopped automatically in the process. You can restore it later.
