When easyfeedback is a good fit

easyfeedback is an established German provider with ambitions similar to ours. In several situations easyfeedback can be the better choice:

If TISAX matters to you. easyfeedback is TISAX-certified (information-security assessment of the German automotive industry). In the automotive supply chain that can be a selection criterion.
If you run many surveys at once with few respondents each. easyfeedback allows any number of surveys in all plans and limits the number of respondents per survey. With many small surveys running in parallel, this model can be cheaper.
If you want to buy a single survey as a package. The Single plan (from €159 one-off, 1 survey, 3 months) is a simple way to purchase one survey; with QUESTIONSTAR, MONTHLY (cancel any month) covers the same need.
If the free entry with 100 respondents is enough for you. The Free plan from easyfeedback allows 100 respondents per survey with up to 10 questions.
If you are looking for integrated dashboards with AI analysis. Result STUDIO offers dashboards, KPI calculation and AI-assisted analysis as an add-on.

Switching: AI-based transfer via MCP

easyfeedback offers a print view (PDF), a participation link and a REST API for results. QUESTIONSTAR currently has no dedicated easyfeedback importer; the AI-based MCP path handles the reconstruction.

Moving over: AI-based transfer via MCP

Print the questionnaire as a PDF or provide the participation link.
Hand the PDF or link to an AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) with the QUESTIONSTAR MCP server.
The AI reconstructs question texts, answer options and pages in QUESTIONSTAR; you add branching and language versions during review.

Limits of reconstruction: What gets transferred is what is visible in the source material. Layout settings, CSS customizations and Result STUDIO dashboards are not carried over.

The time required depends on the complexity. For larger volumes we offer a guided migration service.

For ongoing collections, a clear cut-off date works well: close running surveys in easyfeedback, start new waves in QUESTIONSTAR. Export previous responses as Excel or CSV and, if needed, bring them in via the MCP path as well. That way prior-year values stay available for time series.

For businesses and universities

QUESTIONSTAR covers surveys from a single research group to a large corporation, with all survey features already in the Free plan.

Common questions when switching from easyfeedback

What is the difference between the pricing models?

easyfeedback charges in its standard plans per participant per survey and unlocks features by plan; surveys are unlimited, unlimited participants are available in the Enterprise plan on request. QUESTIONSTAR charges by simultaneously active surveys; responses are unlimited in paid plans and all survey features are included in every plan. Which model is cheaper depends on how many surveys you run in parallel and how many people take part. Example: many small surveys with up to 500 participants each run on easyfeedback Starter for €390 per year; one large employee survey with 8,000 participants needs Professional there (€948), while STANDARD (€395) is enough at QUESTIONSTAR.

Where is the data stored?

Both store data in the EU/Germany. easyfeedback hosts with Cronon in Germany, QUESTIONSTAR with IONOS in Germany, both in ISO 27001 certified data centers and with a DPA. easyfeedback is additionally TISAX certified.

Is anonymity comparable?

Both providers hide results from small groups: easyfeedback from 3 responses with an adjustable threshold, QUESTIONSTAR with a minimum number of participants per analysis group, private questions and one-way enforcement. Anonymous participation is available from both in all plans; the difference lies in the minimum threshold for analysis: at QUESTIONSTAR in every plan, at easyfeedback from Business. Free-text answers or rare combinations of characteristics can allow conclusions with any tool.

Can I bring over my easyfeedback surveys?

Yes, via the AI-based MCP path from a PDF or participation link. You bring previous responses in as Excel or CSV via the MCP path as well, so that time series are preserved.

How does AI work at QUESTIONSTAR?

Via an MCP server in all plans. You connect the AI assistant your organization already uses, and you decide for yourself which model works with the data.

Is QUESTIONSTAR harder to use?

No. You can build simple questionnaires in a few minutes; quotas, loops or translations are there when you need them. The Help shows every step.

Are year-over-year comparisons still possible?

Yes. You export your existing easyfeedback results as Excel or CSV and bring them into QUESTIONSTAR via the MCP path. You create comparisons across waves using filters or with your AI assistant via MCP. When you do, check whether questions and answer coding are comparable between waves.

When does easyfeedback remain the better choice?

When TISAX is decisive, when you run a very large number of small surveys in parallel, or when dashboards with built-in AI analysis are your priority.
